Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Upper Limb Fellowship
This comprehensive fellowship provides advanced training in the diagnosis and management of shoulder conditions, including complex surgical techniques. Based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Osborne Park Hospitals, the program offers exposure to high-volume cases in a world-class public healthcare setting under the guidance of Dr. Falconer and his colleagues within the department.
Fellows will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, gaining hands-on experience in arthroscopic and open procedures, as well as participating in cutting-edge research and educational initiatives. This fellowship provides opportunity for some supervised independent operating, independent clinic time and assisting in the private setting.
Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre General Orthopaedic Fellowship
This fellowship focuses on broad orthopaedic practice, covering sports injuries, trauma, and joint reconstruction in a private healthcare setting. Hosted by the renowned Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, fellows will engage in a diverse caseload, collaborate with leading specialists, and refine their surgical and clinical skills. This program provides an excellent opportunity to gain expertise in both operative and non-operative management of orthopaedic conditions, with exposure to the latest techniques and technologies.
This fellowship is predominantly in the private sector with extensive time spent assisting multiple surgeons within the practice. This fellowship is also associated with the Perth Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Research Institute and fellows have time within the schedule to complete comprehensive research through the Performance Laboratory and associated hospitals.
